Projects for the Boys and Girls Club
I had the honor of doing an assortment of graphic design projects for the Boys + Girls Club of Metro Richmond. The banners above were created to feature the high achievements of students during an annual scholarship event fundraiser and award ceremony. These 6-foot-tall banners were placed throughout the event space to help the audience connect with the mission of the organizer.
Event Brochure
This brochure was designed for the same event as the banners above. The same graphic standards were kept on both to reinforce the brand of the event. The wave-shape, fonts, quote styling were all consistently used allowing the audience to be immersed at the moment.
Event Invitation
This invitation was designed for a different event hosted by the same non-profit organizer. The design challenge of this piece was using the provided images in an eye-catching way. To add visual intrigue to the pictures, I silhouetted the people and used a monotone, faded background to anchor them on the page. By using this standard mailing size with a gatefold, we were able to include a lot of information without paying premium mailing prices for oversized envelopes.
Postcard
This postcard was created for the organization to stay in touch with their donors. The goal of the piece showed the audience that the funds they had generously given paid dividends in the lives of the children supported by the club. By using the artwork by the children from a class the organization hosted, the donors were able to see their money in at work.
